Lydic has been named Gannon's Female Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after being a quadruple-winner during the Gannon women's swim team's dual meet at NCAA Division I Cleveland State last Friday. The junior captured a pair of individual titles in the 50-yard freestyle (24.90) and 100-yard freestyle (53.94). Both performances met Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying standards. The 50-yard freestyle time represented her second-best of the season. Lydic added two more gold medals as part of relay teams, helping the 200-yard medley (1:51.79) and 200-yard freestyle (1:40.70) squads touch the wall first. She swam the anchor leg for both teams. Lydic has won six individual titles this season.
