Knapp highlighted the Gannon women's swim team's action last Saturday against NCAA Division I Canisius. The senior was a double-winner, capturing gold in the 200-yard IM (2:16.82) and the 100-yard backstroke (1:03.52). She also helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team finish second with a time of three minutes and 44.97 seconds. She swam the second leg as the Lady Knights finished less than a second out of the top spot. Knapp has finished among the top two during all three 200-yard IM events she has swam in this season, being the first to touch the wall twice. The Twinsburg, Ohio, native has also medaled during both 100-yard backstroke events she has participated in this season.
