Batts helped the Gannon women's basketball team post a perfect 3-0 record last week with victories against East Stroudsburg (72-49), West Chester (69-61) and Cheyney (82-43). The senior averaged 9.3 points, four assists, 2.3 rebounds, two three-pointers and one steal during the three-game stretch. She also became the 26th women's basketball student-athlete in school history to score 1,000 career points last Saturday at Cheyney. Batts initially concluded a two-game PSAC crossover homestand with nine points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals while handing West Chester its first loss of the season. The Leesburg, Va., native finished the first semester with 19 points and three assists at Cheyney. She went 7-of-9 from the field, 3-of-4 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the free throw line against the Wolves.
