Summers joined teammate Morgan Lydic as double-winners during the Gannon swim team's dual meet against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) foe Bloomsburg last Friday at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion Pool. Summers captured gold in the 200-yard butterfly and the 100-yard butterly. The junior's first win in the 200-yard butterfly came in two minutes and 11.21 seconds, easliy defeating the next swimmer by 6.36 seconds. She finished her butterfly sweep with a time of one minute and 0.86 second in the 100-yard event, nipping the second-place swimmer by 0.41 second. Summers met PSAC-qualifying standards during both butterfly competitions. In addiiton to finishing fourth in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:13.25 time, she also swam the opening leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay. The Lady Knights finished third in that race with a time of three minutes and 50.10 seconds.
