Bean led the Gannon men's water polo to a two-match split last weekend on the road. The Golden Knights opened the weekend with a 19-11 setback at Washington and Jefferson, before rebounding with a 22-11 victory at Salem International. Bean recorded eight goals, two steals, one assist, two earned kickouts and four sprint-offs during the two matches. The senior produced four goals, two sprint-offs, one assist and one earned kickout at W&J. He tried to rally the Golden Knights with both of the team's third-quarter goals and two of the squad's three fourth-quarter scores. Bean followed with four goals, two steals, two sprint-offs and one earned kickout at Salem International. His accuracy was perfect against the Tigers, scoring on every attempt. Leading 8-6 at halftime, Bean spurred Gannon's eight-goal third quarter with a pair of scores.
