Carver helped the Gannon women’s volleyball team achieve a perfect 4-0 record in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East/West Crossover action September 19-20. To open conference play, the Lady Knights earned a sweep during three of their four matches with only one set lost. Opening the season at 11-0, Gannon received votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II national rankings. At the PSAC East/West Crossover matches hosted by Cheyney and West Chester, Carver posted 24 kills in seven sets to average 3.43 kills per set for a .391 hitting percentage. The senior middle blocker collected a block solo and four block assists to average 0.71 blocks per set. Carver added four digs, a service ace and two assists to her weekend totals. She led the Lady Knights to a 3-1 victory over Kutztown in a back-and-forth affair clinched by set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-20 and 25-17. Accounting for a match-best 18 points, she recorded 15 kills for a .538 attack percentage along with a block solo and four block assists during the win over the Golden Bears. In the Lady Knights’ 3-0 sweep of host West Chester, Carver registered nine kills and a service ace, a dig and an assist.
