Fedorchenko led the Gannon men's swim team to a fourth-place finish out of seven teams at the 2014 PSAC Championships hosted by the York County YMCA Graham Aquatic Center last weekend. The sophomore earned three all-conference honors, broke three school records and established four NCAA "B" cut times. He was also part of the 400-yard medley, the 800-yard freestyle and the 400-yard freestyle relay teams that earned All-PSAC honors. Fedorchenko opened the conference championships with a fifth-place finish (9:27.85) in the 1,000-yard freestyle, earning his first NCAA “B” standard. The Ukraine native secured his first All-PSAC honor, while breaking the school record and compiling his second NCAA "B" cut time of the the weekend during a second-place finish (3:57.23) in the 400-yard IM. Fedorchenko nabbed his second All-PSAC honor of the conference championships with a runner-up finish in the 200-yard butterfly (1:50.83). He broke his own previous school record in the event, while collecting his third NCAA "B" cut time. To conclude the conference championships, he broke the school record in the 100-yard freestyle with a third-place finish (45.76) to earn his third All-PSAC honor and fourth NCAA "B" cut time.
