Lydic helped the Gannon women's swim team win two of three decisions at last Saturday's Quad-Meet hosted by Case Western to move its record to 6-2 this season. The sophomore captured a gold medal in the 100-yard freestyle, produced three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying times and recorded four top-three finishes in either individual or team events. Her PSAC-qualifying time of 53.07 in the 100-yard freestyle provided the Lady Knights with their only gold medal of the afternoon. Lydic added a conference-qualifying time in the 50-yard freestyle with a second-place time of 24.47 seconds. She also helped two relay teams finish second as the final swimmer on both squads. Her 200-yard medley relay team placed second with a time of one minute and 50.43 seconds. She joined three Lady Knights to earn second-place honors in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of one minute and 40.38 seconds. Lydic has swam the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle four times each this season, finishing second or higher and meeting PSAC standards every time.
