Scott was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Softball Athlete of the Week after being critical to Gannon's perfect 4-0 record last week while helping the Lady Knights sweep doubleheaders against Mercyhurst and Ursuline. The senior shortstop hit .714 (10-14) with a 1.500 slugging percentage and a .733 on-base percentage during four games. She hit .800 (8-10) with runners on base, .857 (6-7) with runners in scoring position and .750 (3-4) with two outs. In addition, Scott recorded a hit during both trips to the plate with the bases loaded. As a result, she raised her average 61 points to .492 for the season. Scott has recorded at least three hits and also homered during four of her last five games. The New Baltimore, Mich., native began the week with a 6-of-8 showing that included two runs, two home runs and seven RBIs during a twinbill sweep of Mercyhurst. Scott drilled a walk-off two-run homer with one out during a 2-1 victory in the opener. She added five more RBIs during an 11-5 victory in the nightcap. Scott extended a 3-2 Gannon lead with a three-run homer during the second inning, before icing the victory with a two-out, two-run double in the fourth inning. Scott went 4-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs during an 8-1 victory at Ursuline. She hit a lead-off homer during the top of the first inning and later gave the Lady Knights a 5-0 lead with a two-run single in the fourth.
