Fugate led the Gannon women's lacfrosse team to a perfect 2-0 week, helping the Lady Knights defeat Edinboro (17-8) and East Stroudsburg (19-7). The Lady Knights have won four consecutive matches since coming back from their Spring Trip. Fugate averaged six goals, two assists, eight points, five draw controls, two caused turnovers and two ground balls during two matches last week. The senior midfielder began the week with four goals and one assist for five points against Edinboro. She then exploded for a career-high eight goals, three assists and 11 points against East Stroudsburg. Fugate netted six of those eight goals during the first half as Gannon raced out to an 11-2 halftime lead. Her eight goals represented the second-most in school history, finishing only one off the school record. Fugate's 11 points were the fifth-highest single-match total in school history, finishing three shy of that school record. The Wooster, Ohio, native has scored at least two goals and won at least three draw controls in every match this season.
