Lydic helped the Gannon women's swim team record its best conference finish in school history with a third-place finish at the 2013 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships last weekend. In addiiton to recording four individual NCAA "B" cut times, the freshman met NCAA "B" cut standards with all five relay teams she swam with. Lydic was also part of two relay teams that broke school records. Her individual NCAA "B" cut times came during the prelims and finals of both the 50-yard freestyle (24.31/24.17) and the 100-yard freestyle (52.49/52.23). As a result, she finished fifth in the 100-yard freestyle. Her second-place 200-yard freestyle relay team broke a school record with an NCAA "B" cut time of one minute and 35.79 seconds. Lydic then helped the 800-yard freestyle relay team break another school record with a fifth-place showing of 7:41.91 that also meet NCAA "B" cut standards. She was also part of relay teams that swam NCAA "B" cuts in the 200-yard medley relay (5th, 1:47.43), the 400-yard medley relay (6th, 3:55.77) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3rd, 3:28.67).
