Lydic picks up her second Gannon Student-Athlete of the Week honor this season after representing the lone double-winner for the Lady Knights at last weekend's Indiana (Pa.) Invitational. The freshman touched the wall first in the 100-yard freestyle, swimming a top time of 53.84 seconds that met Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) standards. She later anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay team consisting of Michelle Fischl, Shanen Lazenby and Katie Joseph. The group posted a winning time of three minutes and 37.97 seconds. During the opening night of action on Friday, Lydic helped the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay teams post runner-up finishes. She also placed third in the 50-yard freestyle Friday night with a time of 24.85 seconds.
