Chrzanowski was a triple-winner against NCAA Division I Canisius last Saturday. The sophomore won all three events he participated in, winning an individual goal medal in the 200-yard freestyle with a PSAC-qualifying time of one minute and 45.08 seconds. It was his third gold medal in five 200-yard freestyle events this season, recording a PSAC-qualifying time each time and an NCAA “B” cut time at the Wooster Invitational. Chrzanowski added gold medals as part of the 400-yard medley (3:35.67) and the 800-yard freestyle (7:08.55) relay teams against Canisius. He swam the first leg of the 400-yard medley relay for the third time this season, helping win it for the second time. Chrzanowski ended the day by swimming the 800-yard freestyle anchor leg for the second time this season, winning it for the first time after previously placing second. The Erie, Pa., native has won eight individual goal medals this season. He has met PSAC-qualifying standards during all 22 events he has swam in the 200-yard freestyle, the 500-yard freestyle, 1,000-yard freestyle, the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard backstroke. Chrzanowski has also been part of six relay titles this season.
