Wilson led the Gannon men's basketball team to a perfect 2-0 week with PSAC crossover victories against Bloomsburg (81-55) and Mansfield (88-64). The redshirt junior averaged 22 points, six rebounds and 2.5 assists during the two games. He shot 66.7 percent (14-21) from the field, 88.9 percent (8-9) from long range and 80 percent (8-10) from the free throw line. Wilson began the weekend with 15 points against Bloomsburg. He hit 5-of-9 shots overall, 3-of-4 from three-point range and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. The Streetsboro, Ohio, native then exploded for a career-high 29 points against Mansfield, addeing 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Wilson had an almost perfect shooting touch against the Mountaineers with a 9-of-12 slate from the field, 5-of-5 from three-point range and 6-of-8 from the free throw line. He has reached double digits in scoring nine times in 13 games, including each of the last three. Wilson has reached the 20-plateau twice in the last three contests.
