Barbarino led the Gannon men's soccer team to its first NCAA Tournament victory since 1993 with a career-high 11 saves during a second-round match against Davis & Elkins. The junior's effort helped the Golden Knights record a 2-1 win against the nation's 20th-ranked team and propelled the squad into the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. He was one of the main reasons Gannon held a 2-0 lead at halftime after making seven saves during the opening 45 minutes. Several of the saves were made on point-blank shots.
