Bubie was Gannon’s top runner at the 10-team Roberts Wesleyan Invitational last Saturday, leading the Lady Knights to a second-place finish. The Lady Knights have either won or placed second during all four events this season. Bubie finished the 5K race third out of 88 runners with a time of 18 minutes and 14 seconds. The freshman recorded a season-best time with Saturday’s effort. Her third-place finish was just one place shy of her season-best. She finished second at both the Gannon/Mercyhurst Invitational and the Penn State Behrend Invitational.
