Bennett had a hand in five of Gannon's seven goals last week, helping the ninth-ranked Golden Knights remain undefeated this season with a 6-0 record. The sophomore forward totaled eight points with three goals and two assists. Gannon faced a 2-0 deficit at halftime against Bloomsburg last Friday, before exploding for four goals in the second half. The outburst included Bennett's game-winner during the 84th minute. Tied at two, Bennett's header gave the Golden Knights a 3-2 edge with less than seven minutes to play. Bennett then dished out an assist on Gannon's late insurance goal. Saturday's match with East Stroudsburg saw Bennett add two scores and assist on another. Bennett netted the game-tying goal just two minutes into the second half. Bennett had an assist on the eventual game-winner during the 48th minute, before adding a goal during the 60th minute to give the Golden Knights an insurance goal.
