Gannon University Athletics

Lipp led the Gannon baseball team during the 2012 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament, representing Gannon's first postseason appearance since 1970. The senior shortstop hit .571 with a .571 slugging percentage and a .556 on-base percentage during two games. He produced four hits in seven at-bats, driving in a pair of runs. He gave Gannon a 1-0 lead against Slippery Rock with an RBI single during the third inning. Against Kutztown, Lipp cut the deficit to 5-3 with a sacrifice fly during the fifth inning. Trailing 5-4, he later led off the bottom of the ninth with a single, but was stranding at second base to end the game.
