Brosius performed well at the plate and on the field last weekend as the Gannon baseball team fell three times against No. 17 Seton Hill during the final at-bat every time and defeated Fredonia State earlier in the week. The redshirt senior opened the week with one hit, one run and one RBI at Fredonia State. He concluded the week with a 3-for-5 showing during a 5-4 loss in 12 innings at Seton Hill, scoring twice. Brosius led off the 12th inning with a single and later scored the go-ahead run, before the Griffins won the game with two runs during the bottom of the inning. He threw out a potential game-winning run at the plate after a would-be sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning. During Saturday's single game against Seton Hill, Brosius threw out another player at the plate during the top of the seventh inning. His throw from rightfield on the previous play narrowly missed getting the go-ahead run.
