Erica Bartholow turned in a 4-0 week during the Gannon softball team’s Spring Trip to Florida, recording a 1.68 ERA in 25 innings of work. The junior struck out 14 batters while allowing just six earned runs. Opponents hit only .258 during five outings against the Bartholow. She earned her first win of the season against Wilmington after limiting the Wildcats to one run on five hits, striking out seven. She recorded her second straight complete game with an 11-3 win over the University of Mary. Bartholow scattered seven hits, allowing two earned runs and striking out three. In her final two starts, she combined for 10 innings pitched, two earned runs, and four strikeouts. Overall, Bartholow issued just six walks in 25 innings. The four wins nearly match her season total of six from last season.
