Turek finished the week with a 2-0 record for the Gannon wrestling team, picking up victories against grapplers from Pitt-Johnstown and Shippensburg. On Wednesday, Turek knocked off the second-ranked wrestler in the region by defeating David Fogle of UPJ 5-1. It marked the second straight win over a regionally-ranked opponent after defeating Kutztown’s Desmond Moore last weekend. Turek finished the week with a 25-9 technical fall against Colten Keck of Shippensburg. He recorded 10 takedowns and five near-fall points during the bout. He owns a team-best five technical falls this season. Turek is now 11-9 overall with a 7-4 record in dual action.
