Macias helped the Gannon men's basketball team split a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) road games last weekend at Millersville and West Chester. Both contests went overtime, representing the program's first back-to-back overtime games since the 2001-02 campaign. Macias averaged 18 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists during those two games. The junor guard shot 59.1 percent (13-22) from the field, 55.6 percent (5-9) from three-point range and 83.3 percent (5-6) from the free throw line. During a 98-97 overtime victory at Millersville, Macias poured in a season-high 20 points. It doubled his previous season-high. He netted 15 of those 20 points in the second half as Gannon rallied from a 14-point deficit. Macias scored five points in the final 30 seconds of regulation to pull Gannon within two points, before a Shameel Carty lay-up with seven seconds left forced overtime. Macias then added 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting during an 83-79 overtime loss at West Chester.
