Fischl led the Gannon women's swimming and diving team to a 2-1 record at last weekend's quad-meet with Case Western, Kenyon and Grove City. The true freshman broke the school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:08.45. She also posted three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying times in the 200-yard backstroke, the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.22) and the 200-yard IM (2:14.23) . Fischl was a double-winner, taking first in the 200-yard backstroke and swimming the second leg of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team. Her 200-yard freestyle relay team has won its event all four times she swam it this season. Its 1:39.81 time at Case Western was the season's best. Fischl has recorded PSAC-qualifying times all three times she swam the 200-yard IM this season and all three times she swam the 200-yard backstroke this season. She has won the 200-yard backstroke all three times she has swam it.
