Cullen hit .450 or better during both of Gannon’s volleyball matches this week while averaging 3.12 kills and 0.62 blocks per set. The senior middle blocker totaled 25 kills, committing just one error in 47 chances for a .511 attack percentage. She also added three aces to average 3.81 points per set. Against Edinboro, Cullen recorded 11 kills on 22 touches, hitting .455 for the match. She was near perfect during Gannon’s 3-1 victory against Mercyhurst with team-high 14 kills. Cullen sent 14 of her 25 attempts for kills without committing an error on the night for an impressive .560 attack percentage. She accounted for 17 of Gannon’s points, adding an ace and four block assists. Cullen took over during Gannon’s 25-16 win in the second set, recording six kills. She was clutch down the stretch, racking up five kills in the fourth set. Her kill with the score at 25-24 erased the Lakers’ chance at set point and set up Gannon’s 27-25 victory.
