Coleman was also named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division Offensive Player of the Week Sunday afternoon. Coleman led a Gannon comeback that erased a 20-10 second-half deficit at rival Mercyhurst Saturday afternoon during the Lakers' Homecoming game. The senior wideout finished the game with seven catches for 127 yards and three touchdowns. All three figures represented career-highs. Six of those receptions, 97 of those yards and all three touchdowns came in the second half. The Warren, Ohio, native became the first Gannon receiver to catch three touchdowns in a game since Raymar Hester performed the feat at Walsh on October 13, 2001. In addition, he became the first Gannon receiver to record 100 receiving yards in a game since Levar Goff had 121 yards against Mercyhurst on October 11, 2008. Coleman accounted for three consecutive Gannon touchdowns in the second half. His first two brought the Golden Knights within three points both times and his last one with 8:09 left in regulation gave Gannon its first lead of the afternoon at 24-20. He entered the game with eight catches for 91 yards through four games. Gannon (2-3, 1-1) defeated Mercyhurst with a second-half rally for the second consecutive season. Last year, the Golden Knights used a 73-yard touchdown pass with 2:01 left in regulation to post a 14-10 victory at Gannon University Field.
