Dunn started her collegiate softball career at Gannon by going 8-for-21 during the Lady Knights' spring trip to the NTC Games in Florida. The freshman had four RBI, three runs scored and two doubles during nine games. She had a slugging percentage of .476 and an on-base percentage of .480, while only striking out once in 28 plate appearances. Her double during Gannon’s 5-3 victory against Felician provided the Lady Knights with a crucial insurance run. Dunn twice led off an inning by reaching base during an 8-4 win over Georgian Court, once with a single and once after being hit by a pitch. Dunn also started three scoring innings for Gannon during the 4-2 victory against the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She doubled in the third, singled in the fifth and walked in the seventh. All led to runs for the Lady Knights. Dunn hit .308 with runners on base, .750 when leading off the inning and all four of her RBIs came with two outs during the nine games.
