Dragon was spectacular during her first career start against a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) team. The true freshman recorded her first career shutout with a 1-0 eight-inning victory over defending NCAA Division II National Champion Lock Haven last Saturday. The Gannon softball team only played twice last week due to inclement weather while Dragon pitched only the second game against the Bald Eagles. Dragon improved to 7-1 while posting her sixth complete game of the season. She surrendered only three hits, struck out 15 and walked none. Only three Bald Eagles reached second base against Dragon and none advanced to third base. Dragon has limited the opposition to a .219 average this season while producing a 6.7 strikeout-to-walk (80-12) ratio.
