McElhaney was one of only two wrestlers to win their matches last Saturday at fifth-ranked Pitt-Johnstown. The senior won an 8-5 decision in the 149-pound match, defeating Ryan McIntyre to improve to 15-13 overall and 3-2 in dual action. He ranks third among Gannon wrestlers in pins (6) this season. McElhaney is currently ranked eighth nationally and third in the East region.
