The Lady Knights traveled to Lake Buena Vista, Florida for the prestigious Disney Tip-Off Classic November 6-8, winning all three of their games and visiting several of the theme parks in the area. Kristina Freeman was named Most Outstanding Player for the event, while Carrie Nolan and Brittany Tabron were named to the all-tournament team. GU defeated then-ninth-ranked Stonehill 87-70.
The team also got to experience many of the thrills of Disney, including visits to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, and the Animal Kingdom Park. The Knights had their banquet and took in a light show at Epcot as well. The team enjoyed the sun and beautiful climate of a Florida winter.
