ERIE, Pa. - For the second straight weekend, the Gannon volleyball team will host a number of matches at the Hammermill Center. The Lady Knights will face off with a total of four teams during the Gannon/Mercyhurst Invitational tournament. Friday Gannon takes on West Virginia State at 3 p.m. and Lake Erie at 7 p.m. Saturday's action includes Holy Family at 10:30 a.m. and Ohio Dominican at 3:30 p.m.

• Gannon will play at home for the second-straight weekend, opening the season with seven straight contests at the Hammermill Center.
• Gannon was picked second in the PSAC Western Division preseason coaches poll, matching their finish among the division last season.
• Gannon opened the season with a 2-1 finish during opening weekend. The Lady Knights picked up sweeps of Davis & Elkins and defending CACC Champ Caldwell.
