The Gannon women's basketball team concludes a three-game road swing Saturday, February 6 with a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) showdown at California (Pa.). Gannon enters the contest ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II and No. 1 in the Atlantic region. California is tabbed No. 22 in NCAA Division II and No. 2 in the Atlantic region.
The two teams already produced a classic January 13 when Gannon defeated California (Pa.) 75-72 in overtime at the Hammermill Center. The Lady Knights overcame a seven-point deficit in the final two minutes of regulation to force overtime. Gannon owns a one-game lead over California for first place in the PSAC Western Division. The Lady Knights have opened the season with 23 consecutive victories and have won 33 straight regular-season games dating back to last season.
